There is a Selasphorus (almost certainly a Rufous, based upon tail
pics) Hummingbird being seen in the yard of a house in SE Findlay.
According to the homeowners, they have seen it for roughly a week.
Pics to be found on Facebook's Birding Ohio page.
The homeowners generously have permitted access. A couple conditions,
though: they've asked us not to put out the name to the general
public, but rather only to those who ask. I'm sure we all can
understand that. Also, they request that you call first before
showing up. (Number will be provided, too.)
The homeowners are uncomfortable with the bird being banded, so photos
might be are best shot at i.d.
