The numbers of winter visitors at my feeders this morning increased in numbers making this the best fall by far in the 9 years that I've lived here.

The sightings include:

Red Breasted Nuthatch  at least 3 inds.
Purple Finch  5 inds.  2 males and 3 Females
Pine Siskin  8 inds.  some are very darkly streaked

This has the makings for a very good finch year with all of the scattered reports so far throughout Ohio
