I was birding in the same area as Bob McNulty and saw the same birds that he mentions in his post. Thanks to Bob & his companions for helping me get on the golden-winged—a warbler I missed last year in several spots. I heard a Com YT in addition to the warblers in his list.
Bob & I also saw Wood Duck, a nice drake. The nesting Red-shouldered Hawks made a few fly-bys. I saw a Cooper’s Hawk as well.
I heard a swainson’s thrush sing and saw a couple E Phoebes and Ruby-crowned Kinglets. Chimney Swifts.
