Visited the great horned owl nest site today, and was pleased to find two chicks visible along with mom. Could be more, but two is a common number. Their heads are already about the size of baseballs, and yet they had remained out of view until today. Got some fairly bad photos and posted them to ebird. They will soon be sitting on the edge of the nest, posing for me and others. Like any proud grandparent, I will keep the world posted.
