At around the same hour, in nearby Fairlawn, I looked up and saw the tail end of a flock of nighthawks passing over our tree-lined street, going east to west.  With only a small portion of sky visible, I saw 10 or 12, and presume there were more that I missed.

after not seeing a single nighthawk all summer,
just saw at least 40 of them flying about Bath Nature
Preserve and Cleveland-Massillon Road between
7:00-7:30 tonight.  (Summit County)
