Hi all. For those of you who are not familiar with the Towpath trail, I
hold Sunday morning bird walks at 8:30 a.m. in the village of Clinton.
This park area has great habitat for many warblers and other wonderful
birds. This morning we had a great time! We had small numbers but
beautiful views of:
Prothonotary warbler
Common Yellowthroat
Yellow warbler
Chestnut-sided was heard, but couldn't be located. Other highlights
included song sparrows, ruby-crowned kinglet, blue-gray gnatcatcher,
rough-winged swallow and barn swallow.

Subject: [Ohio-birds] New Bird Watcher in Macedonia (Summit
County)

Hi,
I am a new bird-watcher looking to get involved and learn more. I have
joined
the Greater Akron Audubon Society and am interested in watching with
someone
for a few times to get more familiar with the basics. Please feel free to

contact me if you are interested in being a mentor for a time or two.

Thanks everyone. I really enjoy reading about your sightings.
