Greetings all -
Sherrie Duris just found a TRICOLORED HERON at Metzger Marsh (Easter Sunday, the 24th, at 1:00 p.m.). Metzger lies in both eastern Lucas and western Ottawa counties. The heron can be seen from the "2nd pull off on the causeway." Sherrie just texted me a point-blank photo of the bird. Even on my phone's tiny screen, the bird looks pretty sharp - in breeding plumage.
best of birding - Jen
