Had some good birds incl some FOS birds for me at Blackhand Gorge this morning although, overall, it was rather quiet.

N Parula was singing by the road bridge near the main entrance and I finally got good looks at it. Also had Yellow-rumpeds, Yellow-throated, & Black-throated Greens (FOS) (heard only) along the Marie Hickey Trail. A chipping La Waterthrush shot up a side creek as well.

Two Hermit Thrushes and 2 YB Sapsuckers (FOS) on the MH trail also

FOS Green Heron, Rough-winged Swallows and Blue-Gray Gnatcatchers.

Other birds incl Wood Ducks, Com Mergansers in flight. Red-shouldered Hawk, kingfisher, E Phoebe, White-throated Sparrows.

The main paved trail is closed where the Quarry Ridge trail starts. The Quarry Ridge trail is open, just not the paved trail.
