Made a fast stop at the open water by the Eastlake Power plant mid-afternoon -- two long-tailed ducks (male), a bald eagle out on the ice, gulls and great blue herons arguing over dead fish (that was fun), white-winged scoters, 1 canvasback, red heads, a few bufflehead, a couple coot, a few red-breasted mergansers, quite a few common mergansers, Canada geese, a few mallards and one robin singing merrily in the sunshine.  Nice to hear that!
