OCTOBER 03, 2015 - Cuyahoga Valley Monthly Towpath Trail Census.HIKE: Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail from Red Lock Trailhead south to Merriman Valley.TIME: 7:30am-4:30pm TEMP.: 41-51-47 COND.: Light, misty rain from 7:30am-8:40am;overcast with no rain from 8:40am-9:05am; resuming misty rain from 9:05am-9:25am,turning to sprinkles, then to steady rain until 12:30pm; back to misty rain/sprinkles until2:30pm; light mist to no rain from 2:30pm-3:05pm; back to misty rain from 3:05pm-4:30pm.TRAIL COND.: Damp & fair turning to sloppy & wet. RIVER COND.: Muddy but still low.FT.MI.: 13.0 OBS.: John Henry & Douglas W. Vogus.I. MAMMALS: 6 SPECIES.
