Hi all,
The Long-tailed Ducks remain off the Mosquito Lake causeway. There was 11 total with only one male. Other birds seen from the causeway:
Common Loon - 9
Pied-billed Grebe - 3
Canada Goose - ~70
Mallard - yes
Long-tailed Duck - 11 (1 male)
Common Goldeneye - ~45
Bufflehead - 12
Hooded Merganser - ~130
Red-breasted Merganser - 1
Also birded the south end of the lake which is the state park. Around the marina, swimming beach, and northern end of the state park I had:
Horned Grebe - 5
Pied-billed Grebe - 3
Mute Swan - 2
Canada Goose - yes
Mallard - yes
Bufflehead - ~220
Ruddy Duck - 11
Bald Eagle - 3 juv.
Killdeer - 1
American Coot - 250-300
Red-headed Woodpecker - 1-2
