Our Butterfly Bush became quite a battleground just a few minutes ago! A Ruby-Throated Hummingbird, a Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly, a Hummingbird Moth, and a Bumblebee were jockeying for positions. Not much eating was accomplished but they definitely spent a lot of time buzzing each other. A Praying Mantis clung to a branch in the middle of all this activity like a soldier at attention.
