Driving on Cleveland Avenue in the Linden neighborhood around 5:30 this
evening, I witnessed a very large crow flock streaming overhead, flying
south. I didn't see the beginning of the flock but did see the end; I
estimate at least 600 birds in the part of the flock I saw. The whole flock
could have been much larger.

Earlier in the week, I noted smaller flocks of crows headed north of
downtown while driving on I670, so it seems there must be a large roost
somewhere just northeast of downtown Columbus. Does anyone know where the
roost site might be?

Good birding,
Andy Sewell
Columbus
