This morning while walking along Big Creek just north of Stumph Road (Parma Heights / Cuyahoga County) I saw a green heron making its way north along the creek. That is the first time I have seen one in that area. It may have just been migrating through. Still lots of kinglets (both species), brown creepers and hermit thrushes around. I heard an eastern towhee close to the theater building (Greenbriar Commons) in a brushy area which is perfect for them.
