County birds! Andrew and I had three pipits at Armleder. Right where Molly
and John said! Thankfully Andrew saw my car here and joined me.
His good ears picked up on them in flight first! He got me on them.
These rocky, sand, grassy little islands are proving productive in the rivers.
Good!
The Bonie was a surprise at the Four Seasons Marina. Thats on the Ohio River.
Still missing Herring though! If I manage 249 some year in Hamilton and still need
Herring, I'll work on it..... I am assuming I will run into one. Thats life, not a year!
Hit Lake Barber again. Hit the north side trail, wanted to scan the whole
goose flock! Had 8 Cackling! And a Ross's. for say 15 minutes, then it
was gone. Stuff annoyingly does that here.......
It's all relative, but I don't have Snow yet for the year. Oh well.
66 for Ohio for the year. Without trying. My ebird lets me know I had
95 by the end of January last year. What a difference not doing a big
year makes!
Good birding all.
