Dayton Audubon explored Spring Valley Wildlife Area this morning.  Here is a
list of what was seen or heard:

Pie-billed grebe
Great blue heron
Canada goose
Wood duck
Blue winged teal
Black vulture
Turkey vulture
Osprey
Red shouldered hawk
Red tailed hawk
Sora
American coot
Mourning dove
Red-bellied woodpecker
Downy woodpecker
Hairy woodpecker
Tree swallow
Barn swallow
Blue jay
American crow
Carolina chickadee
White breasted nuthatch
Marsh wren
Ruby crowned kinglet
Blue grey gnatcatcher
American robin
Gray catbird
Common starling
Warbling vireo
Blue winged warbler (heard only)
Northern Parula
Yellow warbler
Yellow-rumped warbler (lots!)

Rumor has it that a Cerulean warbler was spotted by Rick Asamoto.
