With slightly more tolerable temps, I ventured out to Slate Run after seeing Robert Thorn’s post the other day. I’ve not been to this MP for some years but only checked out the pond/wetland areas.

I saw pretty much saw/mostly heard the same birds he mentioned for the non-woodland Areas.

Some I don’t think he listed were: N Mockingbird, E Kingbird at the Wetland area. The Kingbird was insect catching over the frog pond. I had some Juv WB Nuthatches there as well.

I didn’t do as well on shorebirds, only seeing Killdeer & a couple Spotteds at Buzzardroost Lk. Had a belted KF there also.

Swallows: Purple Martins, Barn, Tree & Rough-winged.

FCs: Willow, E Peewee.

Only warblers were Com YT and Chat, heard only.
