A male and a female Surf Scoter, at Infirmary Mound Park in Licking Co. This is the same park that hosted two Long-tailed Ducks last year. It’s located on Route 37, north of I-70 and south of Granville. The park naturalist told me they came in on Friday, but she didn’t know what they were. First identified by Mike Smith, Licking Co. birder and Scout leader, whose troop is helping with a big family event being held at the park today.
