Migrants are slowly seeping through the habitats on & around these 2 reservoirs, with a mix of temperate and the first glimmer of neotropicals. I stopped at the beach & visitor's center area and the East Dam area at Alum, and the Wiese Rd bikepath and Oxbow Island at Hoover. Notables in 4 hours included:

Waterfowl - still some lingerers, with some Lesser Scaup and Bufflehead at Alum and a flock of Ruddies at Hoover
Grebes - Horned and Pied-billed off the beach at Alum and Horned off Oxbow at Hoover
Common Loon -1 bird still off old Lewis Rd access at Alum
Osprey - birds at both the Alum beach and Wiese Rd at Hoover
Caspian Terns - 2 were fishing off the beach area at Alum
E.Phoebes - singles at many locations at both reservoirs
Cliff Swallows - 10+ around the dam at Alum, a traditional nesting area
Tree Swallows - 30+ around the beach area at Alum, foraging over the Lake and jousting around nest boxes
Barn Swallows - 3-4 foraging over the water at the beach at Alum
PurpleMartins - 3 were around the nest gourds at the Alum Creek Lake dam
Gnatcatchers - small numbers in many places
kinglets - Ruby-crowns widespread, but not common. The only Golden-crowns were at Wiese Rd
BrownThrashers - singing birds were at the beach area at Alum and along Wiese Rd at Hoover
Orange-crowned Warbler - 1 was singing in the scrub off east Dam at Alum Lake
Yellow-rumped Warblers - small groups at both the beach area and at Oxbow Island
Palm Warbler - 1 was with the small yellow-rump flock at Oxbow Island
