Clark County Audubon had a walk at Buck Creek State Park this morning.
We found 14 species of ducks, a single first winter Glaucous Gull, and
14 species of ducks for the morning. We also had one Horned Grebe near
the Corps of Engineers visitor's center near the southwest corner of the
lake. We found a few Pine Siskins at the access across from the cemetery
on Route 4. The viewing conditions weren't good this morning with the
brisk wind and rough water. A scope is definitely needed to see most of
the ducks.
