I went chasing the White Pelican Marianne found at Marsh Lake - Butler this
Morning. I pull up and sigh…. Nothing big and white. Oh well, birds fly! But
No - another birder kindly waited for me to get my gear and walk to the 
Boat ramp - “it’s in the cove - hidden from view.” We waited. It floated back
Out. Phew. County bird! Seen for one minute in the 30 I was there……

Watching my backyard as I ate lunch - Brown creeper and Towhee! Those
Are yard birds! Stuff is moving! Back to painting I go……
