Dear Ohio Atlasers,

I would like to update you all on a few important changes that will be
taking place soon with the Ohio Breeding Bird Atlas II. Most importantly,
Aaron Boone, our Project Coordinator for the past 4 years, will be leaving
the Atlas at the end of this field season. Leaving OBBA2 was a tough
decision for Aaron, as he has thoroughly enjoyed working with Ohio birders
and the Atlas over the past few years. Aaron accepted a job offer in
Illinois (his home state) working as a biologist with an environmental
consulting company. His efforts and dedication to the OBBA2 will be sorely
missed. If you would like to communicate with Aaron about ongoing
questions, feel free to contact the Atlas at the new contact info below and
we will be sure to forward your communications to Aaron.

Typically, communication with OBBA2 has been directed to Aaron's Ohio State
email account. This account ([log in to unmask]) will be phased out in
September, so I ask that you please direct all future email correspondence
to the Atlas' new Gmail address: [log in to unmask]

This change of email address will soon be updated on the Atlas website,
where it will be available for future reference. Please continue to direct
telephone correspondence to (614) 247-6458 and regular mail to the address
below (same as before).

NOTE TO REGIONAL COORDINATORS: if you have volunteers in your region that do
not correspond by email, please update them with this new contact
information.

Please understand that until I have more assistance, communication with the
Atlas may be relatively slow during August and September, but I will do my
best to respond to your communications in a timely manner. Thanks in
advance for your patience during this transition – and thanks for all your
efforts.
Sincerely,

Paul Rodewald
