Took my lunch to Greenlawn and enjoyed two hours there. Since my last post, new birds at Greenlawn are Hooded and Palm Warblers (1 of each), a Northern Mockingbird, and many, many Ruby-crowned Kinglets.
The Canada Goose sitting on eggs on the tiny island at the pit was flooded out. Both geese were trying to keep 5-6 eggs from floating away, as the nest was completely under water. I wonder if the eggs could possibly survive?
