Fellow birders,

After unsuccessfully looking for the crossbills at Clear Creek on
Wednesday, I found one today right here in the yard. Right here happens to
be in Perry County, just south of Somerset. This was yard bird # 162, and
yard year bird # 46. Given all the sightings this year, I was hoping one
would show up here. We have lots of mature Spruce and Pine, and even a few
Hemlock. Got a great scope view just 40 yards from the house. Hope it
hangs around and brings some friends. If it becomes reliable, will let you
know.
