Not to be outdone by Donna Daniel's forwarded sighting of sandhill
cranes at Deer Creek, I will pass on the following: Geoff Westerfield,
Wildlife Research Technician, reported approximately 300 sandhills
passing overhead in several flocks yesterday morning in Aurora, Portage
County.
