This afternoon I drove around Darke Co. and checked out several spots
Highlights were at Woods Road wetland(short road west and between Rossburg
and Ansonia.
4 Gr. Wh. Fronted Geese
2 common mergansers
several other ducks remain including Redheads, L. Scaup, Ringnecks, N.
Shovelers
Coots
Redtail Hawk
Pileated Woodpecker
At the corner of Stingley Rd. and Clark's Station Road there were 5 A.
Pipits
Otherwise just a few remaining ducks and other usual birds.
Only shore bird that I found today were Killdeer.
There is a lot of standing water in the county so I look forward to finding
shorebirds as the month goes on.
