I made stops at Lorain Harbor, Avon Lake Power Plant, and East 72nd St this afternoon, and the lake was 100% thawed at all three locations.

Lorain Harbor area -

Iceland 2 1st
Glaucous 4 1st

Three Glaucous were together just off the lighthouse (scope helpful), and another was much closer in the marina. One Iceland was in the harbor and another on the beach at nearby Lakeview Park (just west on Rt 6).

Avon Lake Power Plant -

little of note - 100 Canvasbacks and four Red-breasted Mergansers passed

East 72nd St - decent number of gulls in fairly close -

Thayer's 2 2nd, ad
Iceland 1 1st
Lesser Black-backed 3 ad
Glaucous 3 1st, 2nd, ad

Good birding -
