Place looks perfect for shorebirds. Water level and all. I hope it sticks that way for a

29 Semipalm Plovers
7 Killdeer
12 Least
3 White-rumped
1 Semipalmated Sandpiper
1 Spotted
I had plenty of time, so studied the birds well. Or as well as I could through my scope!
They aren't close most of the time. The variation in back color was really great with
The Leasts. They were all that brownish, just some were brighter. Not as different
As a juvenile - adult plumage characteristic.
