Meant to post last night, not that there was much to post.
The reserve still v quiet but I did see one N Mockingbird and heard a towhee. Song Sparrows singing from perches. O/w, just the expected cardinals etc.
I still have a couple White-throated Sparrows at my feeders.
Late in the afternoon, I checked a spot in Perry Cty where I’d seen Short-eared Owls earlier this winter but aside from a lone, distant Red-tailed (which I tried really hard to turn into a Short-eared before scope views dashed that...) and a few TVs, it was just cold and windy.
On the drive out, there were some ducks on a farm pond: mallards, gadwall, Ring-necked, Redhead.
