Hello!

After getting word of the sighting by John Kuenzli of the Loggerhead Shrike yesterday, Doreene Linzell, Dan Sanders, my wife Ricki, and I drove from Magee Marsh to its reported location along Rte. 51 in Sandusky County.? At about 6 PM, we observed the Shrike perched on power lines on the east side of Rte. 51?hawking insects from a weedy strip of land between a field of winter wheat and the?road.? At the time of observation,?it was located near a house with an address of 3325 Rte. 51.? This location is approximately 1 mile north of State Rte. 20 or 2.2 miles south of the Ohio Turnpike.
