Just saw "my" Osprey for the first time this spring. It circled over the apt complex pond and successfully caught a fish on its first plunge. I presume this is the same bird I saw regularly last year. I was told there is a nest not far from here on the Cuyahoga R near Cuyahoga Falls. Great sight against the light snow! Spring is here for real I guess.

I checked out Beaver Marsh yesterday afternoon. Good numbers of Tree Swallows. A pair of Wood Ducks and a Great Blue busy catching small fish in the canal N of the main pond. Heard a Kingfisher. Not much else around.
