I of course did not get out early...... But I have found over the past years that I
can get migrants any time of day. It's just harder in the afternoon! Black throated
Blue in a mixed feeding flock along the Connector trail here. At the power line
cut where it crosses the trail. Always a good spot for me.
Not much else.... But 92 degrees and mid afternoon....
I was there for the inat big year. Trying for Least Skipper pics. I did not get
any! 12 species of butterflies.
Nature notes - Tall Ironweed is in full bloom all over the area. And the nectar
of choice for insects.
BT Blue was 209 I think I am up to for the SW Ohio big year.
