Gorgeous morning for a walk. Fall colors delightful.
Bird-wise, saw/heard my first Golden-crowned Kinglets for the fall in a couple places. Also a Winter Wren and a Blue-headed Vireo. White-throated Sparrows.
O/w, pretty quiet.
Had a big adult female Cooper’s Hawk strafe my bird feeders in Granville a couple days ago then, after perching near me, went after some red squirrels, unsuccessfully.
