Avon Lake Power: The ice edge is pretty far offshore, and so were the birds. The usual 3 gulls and small numbers of common goldeneye, red-breasted and common mergansers, lesser scaup, and surf scoter. When we arrived at the cemetery there was a Sharp-shinned Hawk in Section
70. We drove around and observed the Section 85 bird. The next bird was in
Section 73 near the tunnel. Both went to roost at 5:50 PM.
