I was at East Harbor SP today and as I was driving east on the causeway to the beach I decided to turn around and get out of the car on the north side of the causeway (at the east end) to look at the Canada Geese around 11:30am. I saw two peachy colored Goose and figured they were Gray-legged Goose as I had seen an eBird elert the other day for Erie County at Castalia Pond. I don't have a lot of experience with these birds and didn't realize til I got home and looked at the pictures that they looked like Greater White-fronted Goose. The peach colored bill had white around the top and sides of bill and the feathers on the back were darker brown edged in white and the black tail was edged in white. I don't see them very often and I had Gray-legged Goose on my mind. These birds would of been in Middle Harbor.
