Ok, I'll be the first to admit that I didn't miss the cold and snow this winter after my move to Texas in Oct., but I am missing the up coming wabler migration.  I've been following the coming and going of the birds in Ohio.

I now live about 75 miles from High Island, which is about what I was from Magee Marsh.  I finally went there yesterday to see the Rookery.  It far surpasses what I would expect.  I new that it was the best rookery around as far as getting close and being able to take pictures, but it far surpassed what I expected.

Where else can you get close enough to take pictures, not needed bino's to watch the parents turning the eggs in the nest, and be on covered platforms, with benches while enjoying this spectical, and having people (yes I had a The Biggest Week t-shirt) excited  about Magee, I had so many people asking about the best time to go etc...

Totally enjoyed myself, and missed Magee a little less, I found a new love, Roseate Spoonbills.

I hope everyone troughly enjoys this years spring migration of warblers, I think I've probably missed the biggest part of it down here.

Everyone enjoy
Jeanne
