My neighbor has a large pond in his yard and we normally see an Osprey every fall migration. However, this morning one visited his pond but was scared off by mobbing smaller birds. Is it late for migrants or could this be a resident nearby?

I also had a female Yellow warbler gathering nesting material IN my education fox enclosure this morning. Brave bird!
