I birded at Conneaut harbor from 6:20 AM till 10:40 AM today. There was a steady trickle of shorebird movement, I ended up with 11 species. Birds seen/heard included: wood duck, 12 common mergansers, 3 green herons, 4 semipalmated plovers (first juv.), a juv. Baird's sandpiper, 2 least sandpipers, an ad. white-rumped sandpiper, pectoral sandpiper, 10 semipalmated sandpipers (first juvs.), 2 spotted sandpipers, solitary sandpiper, 4 greater yellowlegs, 4 lesser yellowlegs, 10 Bonaparte's gulls, Caspian tern, 11 common terns, 5 Forster's terns, e. kingbird, bank swallows, and yellow warblers.
