Just back from the Oxbow Road region of Hoover.  Group of 30 Red-breasted
Mergansers fishing close in off the north end of the causeway.  It's fun
watching these guys fish, with the gulls harassing them and making them give
up their catch.  There was a much bigger group of ducks way out in the main
reservoir, between 100 and a 200.  Couldn't quite make them out but looked
like Lesser Scaup and Ringed-neck.
