Friends and I chased the Smiths on William Lucas Rd. It's a hotspot.
No success  A tractor plowing the area probably didn't help. I hope to
try again for a Smiths at those spots near the Indiana border. And
I am always scanning corn fields wherever! Had 4 Vesper Sparrows.
Three around that lone tree area at the road side. And one further along
the road.

Was scanning and listening in my yard off and on all early
afternoon. No Purple Finches here. They are on the move.
No Parula either!
