I think I had the wrong silo before. Or not and they just didn't cooperate last
winter! Anyway, very nice looks for me today. I put in my species comments
the exact location. The personal pin I have up there is for the general area.
Had flocks of geese migrating as I drove. Nice to see! Stuff is starting to
move. I hit Caesar creek again - Warren. No Horned Grebes this time,
but Common Loons. I need Red-throated.
Only had 1/2 day. Errands. I had rearranged my schedule for spending
time in the cleveland area and the pelagic - and will still head up early
Friday even though the boats have been cancelled. Typical pelagics -
so iffy with the weather. I hope to get some state and year birds this
weekend. And a couple new counties on the map!
I need Fish Crow, RT Loon, Harlequin Duck - yes I know not to report
until after hunting season. Thanks Andrew! Saw whet Owl, WW Crossbill.
Etc. Etc. Etc.
Nature notes - Common checkered skippers and Clouded Sulphurs flying
at an area i stopped at - Caesar Creek - Clinton. No Clay colored Sparrow
however.........
That's another species I need. I forget when that one was at Fernald this
year. I think I might have been in Washington. Thinking I will get in the fall.
Sure.....!
Good birding all.
