Hi Everyone,
I have been hearing the orioles for a few days. Yesterday a male went to my
hummer feeder. He wanted to get some nector but couldn't, I have the type
of feeder with be guards on it. He looked at all the ports and found a
loose guard he took it off with his beak and threw it to the ground and
stayed quite awhile drinking from it. After he left I put my orange feeder
up. Today a female was trying to get a piece of twine that has been stuck
for awhile now in a liliac bush, she has tried many times today and still
hasn't gotten it loose. I will cut it and lay it back in the bush for her.
