Only no Geese! That surprised me. Only an inch or 2 of snow on the
fields. Nice seeing Horned Larks along the road at VOA. So I pulled
off and hopefully got a couple nice shots. for me at least.
I was hoping for a Pipit or Snow Bunting also! No.
I drove through Armleder back down here in Hamilton county.
Killdeer! Those are actually my first of the year. But no Horned
Larks here.
Tues. will be Brown, Highland, etc. Hopefully the roads are clear.
It will probably be mainly road birding. This is a good time to
check fields with the snow cover. I would love to track down
those huge Snow Geese numbers! And a Ross's.
And its going to be cold and windy Tues. I hate cold and windy....
Good birding all.
