It was a nice morning to be at the reserve today. Nothing unusual but I was happy to hear a Blue-winged Warbler. I haven’t heard or seen one there since early spring. I think they nest there but not sure. They certainly nest at the Marie Hickey area at Blackhand Gorge. I spent some time trying to spot it but was not successful.
Other warblers just Yellow, Com YT, N Parula plus Chat. I didn’t hear or see KY or La WT. no orioles today.
