Even though the lake was mostly open compared to yesterday, things were a
lot slower. The only waterfowl were mergansers and commons outnumbered
red-breasteds. A lot fewer gulls with the larger gulls making up the
percentage of them.
Even though the lake was quiet the small birds were a little more
interesting. I had three siskins show up at the feeders and a Carolina
wren. It was the first siskins of the year and the first wren in a couple
months. There was also a few redpolls and robins along the cliff also
today.
