There was some minor movement of passerines along the Scioto River in Columbus today. More birds seem to have left than have arrived. Birds seen here this morning along my local stretch south of 5th Ave. and a short N section of the bike path across the river on a one hour long walk included :

3 Great Crested Flycatchers
3 Blue-headed Vireos
9 Warbling Vireos
2 Red-eyed Vireos
6 House Wrens
1 Ruby-cr Kinglet
1 Swainson's Thrush
1 Hermit Thrush
2 Wood Thrushes
9 Gray Catbirds
11 Nashville Warblers
1 Northern Parula
7 Yellow Warblers
1 Chestnut-sided Warbler
1 Black-throated Blue Warbler
28 Yellow-rumped Warblers (numbers way down from a few days ago)
1 Black-throated Green Warbler
1 Blackburnian Warbler
1 Blackpoll Warbler
1 Common Yellowthroat
1 Dark-eyed Junco (it's been a while since I've seen one here)
1 Indigo Bunting
7 Baltimore Orioles

White-throated Sparrows are still abundant here, as they are all winter, but perhaps less vocal (mostly females at this point?). Blue-gray Gnatcatchers are already nesting, One was observed sitting on a nest today. Resident Yellow-throated Warblers are probably already nesting too, since they sing infrequently at this point and are harder to detect.
