For those not following on Facebook birding groups, Lorain Fishing Pier has been experiencing shorebird activity.  A Buff-breasted Sandpiper has been there the past several days, including this morning – orig discovered by E. Wransky, I believe.  Others have included Western Sandpiper, Whimbrel, Semipalmated Sandpiper and Plovers, to name a few – check out eBird for more details.  Best of birding!
