I was going back and forth at work today whether to do warblers somewhere
Or my shorebird survey. The shorebirds won out, although with the passerine
Reports around, it was a tough choice!

Nothing earth shattering here. The river was a bit higher - only one sandbar -
Gravel pits were even better for birds. More habitat with the recent rains.
That also means they are further away. Joy. Hopefully Ellis dries out some soon.
It’s nice to see shorebirds close now and then! Maybe they will be back at the
Bridge at Lost Bridge soon. That was fun!

Anyway -
8 Semipalm Plovers
6 Killdeer
5 Least
3 Pecs
1 Semipalm Sandpiper - that I may change to peep sp. fairly longish bill
For a peep, no tapered point. I studied it for awhile.
1 Greater Yellowlegs
41 Great Blue Herons
17 Great Egrets

Good birding all.
