I was at Conneaut yesterday 9/9 from 9:15 AM - 3:30 PM.  Best birds were: green-winged teal, green heron, bald eagles, black-bellied plover, 2 Am. golden-plovers, semipalmated plovers, Am. avocet, 13 sanderlings, semipalmated sandpiper, least sandpipers, 1 white-rumped sandpiper, pectoral sandpiper, a first-cycle LAUGHING GULL, 2 lesser black-backed gulls, 1 great black-backed gull, 16 Caspian terns, 2 common terns, belted kingfisher, and a couple purple martins.  There was some nice activity in late morning and early afternoon.  Very little disturbance at the spit all day.  Craig Holt, Lowellville
