This evening while driving home from work around 4:10 I had an immature
GOLDEN EAGLE fly over Route 2 in Painesville Township. The bird crossed the
road about a mile west of the Grand River. The bird was heading south and
was flying a little over treetop high. The are it was flying from is an
extensive area of open brush. It would be the area south of Fairport
Nursery Road. If you're in this area you may want to keep your eyes open.

This is only the second golden eagle I have seen in Lake County and the
first time I have seen one in northern Ohio in the winter.
